Calanus Liquid

BCUK Calanus Liquid 250ml - Calanus Reef Feed

Calanus Liquid is a prepared reef feed produced by BCUK Aquatics using Calanus finmarchicus zooplankton harvested from the North Atlantic Ocean.

Calanus finmarchicus are naturally rich in EPA, DHA and SDA omega-3 fatty acids and accumulate carotenoid pigments including astaxanthin from their planktonic diet, making this a dense marine-derived feed well suited to reef fish, corals and invertebrates. Nutritional analysis: protein 12%, fat 8%, ash 2%. Ingredients: Calanus, Water, EU Permitted Antioxidant. The liquid format is appropriate for target feeding directly to specific corals or fish using a pipette or turkey baster, or for use in automated dosing systems. It requires no refrigeration and carries a 12-month shelf life at ambient temperature.

For guidance on building a complete reef nutrition programme combining prepared and live foods, contact us at [email protected] or call 01267 611533.
