Dedicated breeding tanks are the ideal long-term solution, but for immediate separation within an existing system, a floating trap provides a practical, low-setup option that keeps fry in the same water as the main tank.

The Marina Multi Breeder is a transparent floating breeding trap with an adjustable divider, lid, and optional suction cup mounts. The slotted design allows water to circulate freely from the main tank while keeping fry or small juveniles safely separated. It can be configured as a single larger chamber or divided into two compartments depending on what is being isolated. In a marine context it is useful for clownfish breeders protecting newly hatched fry in the short term, seahorse keepers separating juvenile animals, or isolating a stressed or bullied fish while recovery takes place. Also suitable as a simple containment vessel for small live food work.
