SPS and LPS corals, clams, tube worms, and other filter-feeding invertebrates are heterotrophic feeders that depend on suspended organic particles in the water column as part of their nutrition. In a well-maintained reef tank with an efficient skimmer, that suspended particle load is often lower than it would be on a natural reef, and corals and filter feeders in those systems can benefit from a targeted micro-particle supplement to support polyp extension and tissue health.

NT Labs Pro-F Reef Snow is a 50g dry micro-particle food from NT Labs, formulated to create a suspension of fine organic particles when dosed into the aquarium, mimicking the natural marine snow that corals and filter feeders encounter on wild reefs. Shake well before use and add the dose to a high-flow area of the tank to distribute particles evenly throughout the water column. Feed regularly as part of a coral care routine alongside live phytoplankton or liquid reef feeds for a more complete nutritional approach to filter feeder nutrition.
